The focus is to inspire a passion for the sport and lifestyle of surfing for future generations and to bring the community together. This is a large reason why Oceanside breeds young talented surfers with a specific passion for surfing. An example of this is a local non profit, the Oceanside Boardriders Club, which is a group local of surfers dedicated to serving the youth and encouraging the next generation by instilling in them friendly competition and movement. Keeping the surf stoke alive
A must see for many reasons. One being the beautiful view of the ocean, the city. If the swell is up, you can catch surfers getting barreled north or south side of the pier, depending on the sand bars:) And if you’re hungry, you can grab some fresh caught local fish at the Brine Box located ½ way down the pier. A perfect place for lunch with a view or just a nice lil stroll.
rom sandy beaches with popular surf spots to memorable dining experiences with lots of people and sea life watching to be had. It is a great place to visit if you want to visit for the day, week or weekend. And as locals like to say, Oside or no side.
